Crisis Support
With the cost of living increasing at a rapid rate we are seeing more people, especially working people unable to make ends meet. Food & Fuel poverty has meant heating the home or food on the table.
We understand that you may have been someone who gave to charity and now you need to reach out to a charity for support.
We offer support to those in crisis, left without any income or low income households experiencing financial hardship.
What we offer
An emergency food parcels, a hot meal, emergency clothing or food vouchers to alleviate the crisis situation.
Referral Process
A professional referral can be made for anyone experiencing food crisis using our link ukeff.org/referrals
Self-Referral
We also offer a self-referral service to those in crisis the link can be found at ukeff.org/help
We aim to carry out a crisis needs based assessment within 12 working hours of receiving a referral. For longer term support needs, we will undertake a thorough assessment and will require proof of income and expenditure.
