Meet Your Muslim Neighbours

UKEFF launches its Meet Your Muslim Neighbours Initiative to remove common misconceptions about Islam and Muslims throughout the UK, its taken really well and received great feedback. “I have never visited a Mosque before but often walk past wondering if I would be welcomed and what happens inside, I am really pleased I was invited and so glad I came to make new wonderful friends and learn about their beliefs”.

A gentleman laughingly said,

“I really understood Islam to be an Asian religion, today I have been corrected and that Islam is not a religion, in fact it is a way of life and definitely has nothing to do with Asia”
