Oldham Food Aid Hub
Our food aid hub opened its doors in 2009, having seen an increase in poverty, and homelessness.
Our hub provides much needed crisis support, as well as a haven for people to get a hot drink, a food parcel, an empathetic listening ear and assurance that the crisis they face can be alleviated.
Our culturally appropriate food parcels are offered to anyone in need, regardless of their background.
We believe that no one should go to bed hungry whilst his neighbour goes to bed satisfied.
Referral Process
A professional referral can be made for anyone experiencing food crisis using our link ukeff.org/referrals
Self Referral
We also offer a self referral service to those in crisis the link can be found at ukeff.org/help
Application Process
We aim to carry out a crisis needs based assessment within 12 working hours of receiving a referral. For longer term support needs, we will undertake a thorough assessment and will require proof of income and expenditure.
